\"\"TASIS Summer Program (TSP)<\/strong>, for Languages, Arts, and Outdoor Pursuits, based on the campus of The American School in Switzerland in Lugano, offers intensive language courses in English as an Additional Language, French, and Italian for14- to 18-year-olds<\/strong>. The program includes artistic activities, a wide choice of sports, alpine activities, and weekend excursions in Switzerland and Italy. Four-week and three-week sessions. Besides language courses, the program offers courses in Digital Photography, Drawing and Painting Ticino, and Art History.<\/p>\n

Middle School Program (MSP)<\/strong>, on the Lugano campus, is specifically designed for students\u00a0aged 11 to 13<\/strong>\u00a0to study
\nEnglish as an Additional Language, French, and Theater (four-week session only). The program provides appropriate academic challenges and recreational activities for this transitional age group within a warm and caring community. Students must choose special workshops to attend two afternoons a week from among Music and Drama, Art, and Special Sports Clubs.<\/p>\n

Optional<\/strong>\u00a0intensive afternoon sports activities are offered in\u00a0MSP<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0TSP<\/strong>. TSP students can either attend the AC Milan Junior Soccer Club or the Armani Junior Basketball Camp 4 afternoons a week, while MSP students have the choice of joining the AC Milan Junior Soccer Club, the Tennis Academy, or the Armani Junior Basketball Camp, 3 afternoons a week.<\/p>\n

Le Ch\u00e2teau des Enfants (CDE)\u00a0<\/strong>is a summer program of learning and fun for\u00a04+ to 10 year olds<\/strong>. Sharing the Lugano campus with TSP and MSP, but with its own separate living and dining facilities, the program teaches English, Italian, or French through lessons, games, activities, sports, and art in a close-knit, caring, family-style community specifically tailored to younger children. Picnics, excursions, and camping trips are also offered. Children from 4+ to 6 years attend (only as day students) our Minnows program, with age-appropriate activities and sports. We offer four-week and three-week sessions.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0TASIS French Language Program (TFLP)<\/strong>\u00a0offers an intense 4-week program in French for students\u00a0aged 14 to 17<\/strong><\/p>\n

in the Canton of Vaud, one of the most scenic alpine regions of Switzerland. In addition to language studies, students
\nparticipate in a variety of sports and cultural trips. Students may choose from a selection of adventurous sports such as
\norienteering, climbing, canyoning, and rafting, all led by certified Swiss instructors. An optional fifth week takes a
\nlimited group of students to Paris where they explore the\u00a0 cultural and historical riches of the city.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Ch\u00e2teau-d\u2019Oex Middle School Program (CDMSP)<\/strong><\/p>\n

offers students\u00a0aged 11-13<\/strong>\u00a0the opportunity to improve their English or French skills in the beautiful alpine setting of Pays d\u2019Enhaut. Along with language study, students participate in mountain sports and cultural excursions to the medieval castle of Gruy\u00e8re, a workshop at the Olympic Museum of Lausanne, and an outing to explore the traditional cheese-making process.<\/p>\n
